Your voyage log stays aboard.

Effective August 7, 2026. This policy describes the planned version 1.0 behavior and must be reviewed again before App Store submission.

Data collection

The version 1.0 app is designed to work without an account and without collecting personal data. Saved destinations, route preferences, and voyage history remain on the device.

Location

The app does not request precise or approximate device location. The map's origin is a fictional Near Earth relay and does not represent a user's actual position.

Website analytics

The website uses Google Analytics to understand page visits, referral sources, device categories, and general usage patterns. Google may set analytics cookies and process technical information such as IP address, browser details, and interaction events. We use this information to improve the site and release communication, not for cross-app advertising. Cloudflare also receives standard security and request logs to deliver and protect the website.

App analytics and tracking

The version 1.0 iOS app plan does not include advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. Website analytics do not change the app's on-device privacy behavior.

AI features

The initial release uses local authored route advice and does not send prompts or voyage data to an external AI service. This policy must be updated before any network-based AI feature is introduced.

Children

The app is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
