Release status
The interactive star map, route options, destination catalog, voyage log, English and Simplified Chinese localization, privacy manifest, and App Store metadata are in development and local validation.
What is Cosmic Detour?
It is an educational entertainment app that imagines interstellar travel through the interface of a familiar navigation app. Astronomical destinations are inspired by real data; routes, hazards, travel systems, and arrival estimates are speculative.

Troubleshooting
The star map does not move.
Drag the map with one finger and pinch to zoom. Reduced Motion may limit ambient star animation but does not disable navigation.
Are route times scientifically accurate?
No. The app is a playful planning experience and clearly labels speculative travel mechanics. It must not be used as navigation or scientific prediction software.
Does the app collect my location?
The MVP does not request precise device location. “Near Earth relay” is a fictional origin marker, not your physical coordinates.
